Lebanon Guide
Lebanon is a beautiful and underrated country with some of the best scenery I have ever been exposed to. This is a guide to some of the must-see luxurious spots if you are headed there soon (and I can't recommend it enough).
Pro tip - be sure to use Google Maps in Lebanon for the most accurate locations!
1. Enjoy breakfast at Paul and spend the day in Downtown
Paul is a beautiful Parisian-inspired cafe that you can find all over the city, but my favorite one is located in downtown Beirut. Here you can enjoy breakfast and then spend your afternoon visiting the luxury shops and admiring the beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets that make Beirut the Paris of the Middle East.
2. Explore Rocca Marina "Island"
Rocca Marina gives you that Greek Island Feeling where you can spend the day in their gorgeous infinity pools over the ocean. You also get to enjoy the beautiful mountains and Lebanon's landscape while you tan, swim, and enjoy the musical performances.
3. Eat at Iris Beirut
Iris Beirut is in the heart of the city and boasts some of the best views and delicious food options that everyone will enjoy. You can come here during the day, enjoy a sunset meal, or come here after dark and enjoy a Lebanese sahra.
4. Visit Baalbek
Baalbek has one of the largest Roman Temples in the world and is definitely a marvel to enjoy. Every year in July Baalbek hosts their international festival where you can enjoy concerts from world-renowned artists. My advice is to visit Baalbek later in the day or at golden hour as it can get very hot during the afternoon.
Byblos is one of the oldest cities in the world and sits right on the port. It's the perfect place to grab something to eat and enjoy the scenery. Just be sure to visit the old town shops while you are there and pick up some souvenirs.
6. Eat at Grecco LB
Greeco sits right on the water where you can enjoy some Greek and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. You'll also be taken down to the restaurant in a golf cart! Come enjoy their delicious food and even hang out at their private beach.
If you really want to feel like you are surrounded by luxury, you need to visit Zaitunay Bay. Here you will be able to eat at some of the best restaurants and enjoy the luxurious yachts that surround you. Some of my favorite restaurants here include BeBabel, Em Sherif, and Leila Restaurant.
8. Relax at Vaia Beach Club
Vaia Beach Club is a newer beach that boasts a bohemian chic and relaxing vibe that you will surely enjoy after exploring all this country has to offer.
9. Take a Boat Ride Under the Raouche
Of course, you can't visit Lebanon without stopping to admire the Raouche rock formations. Take this a step further and head down to the water for a picturesque boat ride underneath.
10. Enjoy a sunset dinner Party at Beirut's most iconic Restaurant
Em Sherif on the Roof overlooks the entire city skyline and serves some of the best Middle Eastern food you will have on your trip. When the sunset hits, you will truly feel like you are eating in the clouds. It is the most posh restaurant and is incredibly difficult to get a reservation at, but definitely try your luck as it is worth it!
