Top 5 Things To Do In Honolulu
If you have ever visited Hawaii, you know that it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. This post will detail some of my favorite activities that you need to add to your itinerary in Honolulu (Oahu) when you visit - that aren't just going to Waikiki Beach.
1. Visit Lanikai Beach
Lanikai Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Honolulu. It's a scenic and calm spot with the bluest waters and warm, golden sand. This is the perfect place to spend the afternoon swimming and is far less crowded than Waikiki. Not to mention, the water temperature is perfect to swim in.
2. Hike the Moana Falls Trail
Hiking the Moana Falls Trail was worth every minute. This is truly a beginner and family-friendly hike where you get to be in the mountains and see the beauty of this Hawaiian island. Be sure to grab a coconut or pineapple drink on your way out as a well-deserved reward.
3. Eat at Haleiwa Joe's Seafood Grill
There aren't any words to describe the views and culinary experience you will have at Haleiwa Joe's, but be sure to arrive early as the wait time can be long. There is a beautiful garden you can explore while you wait and trust that the food is well worth it.
4. Take a Dolphin Tour on the North Shore
If there is one thing I can urge you to do most, it is to please be sure to explore the North Shore while you are in Honolulu. Too many individuals visit Waikiki Beach and stop there when the real beauty of the island is on the North Shore. During my stay, I took a Dolphin tour with Dolphins & You and saw so many dolphins, and sea turtles and had the opportunity to go snorkeling.
5. Have a Sunset dinner at Sky Waikiki
I went to quite a few restaurants on Waikiki Beach, and the one that had the most incredible views was Sky Waikiki. You get 360-degree views from the 19th floor of Waikiki Beach and the city of Honolulu. The sunset was incredible and the food and live entertainment were just as amazing. I highly recommend a reservation here for your visit.
